Nine-month-old baby wounded after being hit by drop bomb explosion in Mandalay

A drop bomb explosion injured a nine-month-old child in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, at about 5:30 pm on October 14.

Daw Moe The living in eastern Myotha Village was selling betel quid in front of her home when she heard an explosion in the yard. So she went to see her nine-month-old son, who was sleeping in a chair, sustained a shrapnel wound to the abdomen.

The injury is not serious, and the child is reportedly receiving medical treatment at the Mandalay General Hospital.
