State Administration Council Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with a Russian delegation led by H.E. Mr. Tsydenov Aleksei Sambuevich, Head of the Republic of Buryatia, on November 15 in Nay Pyi Taw. The meeting included senior Myanmar officials and Russian representatives, including the Russian Ambassador to Myanmar, H.E. Mr. Iskander Azizov.

Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in agriculture, forestry, rubber production, and industrial development. They explored partnerships in technology, transportation, mining, and education, including scholarship programs and knowledge exchanges. Health sector collaborations and direct flights between the countries were also discussed, along with fostering mutual cultural and religious exchanges.

The Russian delegation, which arrived in Myanmar on November 12, visited notable sites such as the Shwedagon Pagoda, Chaung Tha Beach, and other landmarks in Yangon and Ayeyarwady regions. Further visits to cultural and historical locations are planned during their stay.
