Myanmar hosts workshop on cyber security policy and diplomacy

Myanmar hosted Fourth Senior Level Workshop on International Cybersecurity Policy and Diplomacy for CLMV Countries at Hilton Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on April 4, Myanmar Computer Emergency Response Team reported.

The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications and ICT for Peace Foundation. Soe Thein, Permanent Secretary attended and made a speech on the occasion.

The aims of holding the workshop are to gear up cooperation in cyber security among the countries of the CLMV and realize experiences and policies as to cyber security.

The workshop was held for two days on April 4 and 5.

The first workshop was hosted in Lao in 2016, the second in Vietnam in 2017, the third in Cambodia in 2018.
