Mongla special region (4) issued a statement that ID cards for temporary stay and car number plates are being issued free of charge and actions had taken to those pretending police force members and asked money for making IDs.

It said that ID cards and car number plates are being issued free of charge even on weekends.

Those wish to make ID cards have to bring their citizenship cards, 2 photos, their current address, and phone number, according to the statement issued by Mongla special region (4).

They have taken action to some people pretending to be policemen and took cash for making ID cards, it is reported.  Mongla police force has making ID cards for those coming from Kokang region.

Taking cash from the people and making IDs violate rules and destroy the image of the police force, affect friendship between public and hinder social dealings, it is reported.

Public need to report those violate the law and need to inform the police, added Mongla special region (4).
