On the opening day of Mann Shwe Settaw Pagoda, the upper Settawyar, the footprint of the Buddha on the hill and the lower Settawyar, other footprint of the Buddha at the foot of the same hill are opened and offerings are made. On the closing day of the festival, the lower and upper Settawyar are usually closed. It is said that the lower Settawyar is covered with a light and glass canopy, so it can be seen after the festival.
