The IDPs were hiding in the jungles and urgently need shelters, warm clothes, blankets, and medicines.

Similarly, hundreds of local residents have fled their homes and hid in safer places due to the shootings occurred in Thaton township, Mon state, according to one of the aid workers.

The aid workers also reported that some IDPs fled to the downtown from their villages and they already lived in their relatives’ houses. However, mostly victims fled to the jungles. So, they urgently need shelters as well as blankets, warm clothes, and medicines. The majority of IDPs are children, elderly, and women.
