An explosion occurred near Sinphyu gate and a police outpost in Muse, northern Shan State around 7 pm on June 8, sources said.
“I heard a loud explosion and the security forces came after that. Someone threw a can and made it explode. No one was injured and nothing was damaged,” said a local who lived in the compound of Sinphyu market.
The investigation is still ongoing.
Explosions assumed to be caused by stun grenades occurred in three places in Muse on the evening of May 26 and the explosion occurred near Pyithu Sae Yone junction in Muse killed a youth, who came to collect garbage and injured two on the morning of May 28.
