MON-----The drugs worth of over Ks 2 billion were seized near Nyaung Khar Shay village, Waw Township, Bago Region, at night of November 21st, according to the sources.

According to the tip, the combined team including anti-drug force searched six-wheeled vehicle driven by Saw Ahl Too Lo and his assistant Saw Ahl Doe Htoo leaving to Mawlamyaing Township from Bago’s Payargyi and they found 1.34 million of stimulant tablets worth of over Ks 2 billion, 2 kilos of ICE and a motorbike on the vehicle.

The driver and his assistant told that the seized drugs were carried to Mon State from the Shan State. Now, the relevant police station is now taking action against the driver and his assistant for carrying of illegal drugs.
