Delegation led by SAC Chairman, returns to Myanmar

The delegation led by the Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a goodwill visit to the Russian Federation, departed for Myanmar from No. 3 Vnukovo International Airport, Moscow, Russian Federation, on the morning of May 10.

The SAC delegation was seen off by officials of the Russian Federation at the airport.

During the visit, the SAC Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and members of the goodwill delegation attended the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 held at Red Square in Moscow on May 9.

Then, following the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War held on Red Square on May 9, the SAC Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended a luncheon hosted by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, along with heads of state and special guests.

While attending the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) and related ceremonies, the SAC Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with international dignitaries and officials present and discussed ways to promote diplomatic relations, friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, on the evening of May 9, local time, the SAC Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Soluex Hotel Moscow in Moscow.

In addition, the SAC Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, also met with the President of Mongolia, who attended the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The SAC Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla were accompanied by the Council’s Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo and his wife, the SAC members, Union Ministers, senior military officers, deputy ministers and members of the goodwill delegation on the visit to the Russian Federation.
