MYIEK----Deputy Director Thaung Tan from Education and Training Department under the Ministry of Border Affairs and staff were killed in Dawei Township, Taninthayi Region, on August 29th, according to the sources.

Thaung Tan and its staff were missing on August 28th but they were found dead near a lake on August 29th.

“It was true. They were killed in Dawei Township,” said unidentified officer from Dawei Township.

The authorities are now conducting the checks at the incident and they are trying to arrest the offenders.
