The eldest son of actress May Thinzar Oo died in a car accident Tamwe Township, Yangon Region, last night.

The accident happened on December 25 at around 10:30 p.m., when the son of actress May Thinzar Oo was driving a KIA car along Banyardala road in Tamwe Township. On arrival in front of the Kyaukmyaung Fire Station, the vehicle hit the lamppost.  

“The car hit the lamppost. The airbags also opened. As the road accident occurred in front of the fire station, the fire fighters pulled the victim out of the vehicle. However, the victim died in hospital,” said an official from Moe Yangon Rescue Organization who arrived at the scene.  

Ah Yoe Gone Yangon Rescue Organization sent the victim to the hospital but the driver died on arrival at the hospital.

The victim was 27 years old and he was the eldest son of actress May Thinzar Oo.
