As of May 10, the powerful earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28 has resulted in 3,721 fatalities, 5,104 injuries, and 86 missing persons across six states and regions, according to reports.

Myanmar Fire Services Department, along with domestic and international rescue teams, has been conducting urgent search and rescue operations in affected areas. By May 10, they had successfully rescued 653 survivors and recovered 798 bodies from collapsed structures.

Both local and international donors - including foreign governments, organizations, and private philanthropists - have been providing financial and material aid to disaster victims.

India has contributed medical supplies weighing 0.90 tons, delivered through the Indian Embassy to Yangon International Airport between 5:00 PM on May 9 and 5:00 PM on May 10. Meanwhile, China (Taipei)-based Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation donated 34 boxes of mosquito nets and bedsheets weighing 1.069 tons.

Authorities are working to swiftly distribute these relief supplies to affected communities.
