The Union Election Commission (UEC) has issued a statement announcing that 10 of the 14 new political parties that submitted their applications for registration have been allowed to form.

Those willing to form a political party applied to the UEC by stating the name of the party they wanted to establish. Until September 25 this year, 14 proposed parties came to apply.  Among them, 10 political parties have been allowed to be established, the UEC statement stated.

Of the 10 political parties allowed to be established, seven have been registered, and the remaining parties are being scrutinized by the UEC for registration.
