Myanmar President Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official visit to India, yesterday met with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
The meeting took place in New Delhi, India, as part of the President’s official visit to the country.
During the discussions, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and India, enhancing security and stability in border areas, and further expanding bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
Also attending the meeting alongside President Min Aung Hlaing were Union Ministers U Khin Maung Yi and U Tin Maung Swe, other senior officials accompanying the delegation, as well as Myanmar’s Ambassador to India and embassy officials.
On the Indian side, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval was joined by India’s Ambassador to Myanmar, Shri Abhay Thakur, and other relevant officials.
