
Yadanarbon FC beat defending champion Yangon United FC 3-2 at home in Mandalay in Myanmar National League (MNL) held on January 27.
The host team piled the pressure on the away team from the start and scored the first goal in 15th minutes by Win Naing Soe. Yangon United equalized in 29th minutes from a mistake made by the host team defence. The host team scored two goals in 48th and 58th minutes in second half. The away team made changes after that and Kaung Htet Soe scored the equalizer goal in 73rd minutes.
Ayeyawady United FC didn’t seize the opportunity to climb to the top of the table of the MNL as they have been held a draw by the Chinland FC, which is sitting at the bottom of the table.
Hanthawady Untied FC, which beat Magway 1-0, climbed to second place behind league leader Yangon United FC at the table.
