The fifth day of the 61st Myanmar Gems Emporium was held at Mani Yadanar Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 12 October, with 70 gem lots sold, according to reports.

Domestic and foreign gem merchants inspected jade lots displayed inside Mani Yadanar Jade Hall and at designated areas outside the hall.

Officials examined price quotations submitted for 160 gem lots and announced that 70 lots had been sold.

On the sixth day of the emporium, jade lots numbered 1 to 550 from Groups A and B will continue to be offered through an open tender system. The results, including the lots sold, will be announced on 13 October.

A total of 3,073 jade lots at the emporium have been divided into three groups—Groups A, B and C—based on factors including jade quality and marketability in domestic and international markets. Group C is intended to support and promote micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

Of the total, 1,605 jade lots in Groups A and B will be offered to domestic and foreign gem merchants through the open tender system from 13 to 15 October, while 1,468 lots in Group C will be available from 16 to 17 October.

The 61st Myanmar Gems Emporium 2026 will continue at Mani Yadanar Jade Hall until 17 October.
