Myanmar President Meets Russian State Duma Speaker in Moscow

President U Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official visit to Moscow at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, met with H.E. Mr. Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, at the State Duma building in Moscow at 10 a.m. local time on August 18.

Upon arrival at the State Duma building, the Myanmar high-level delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing was welcomed by Chairman Volodin, followed by a photo session.

The two leaders subsequently held talks in the meeting hall of the State Duma.

The meeting was attended by members of the Myanmar delegation, including U Khin Maung Yi, U Tin Maung Swe, Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, Dr. Thet Khaing Win and U Ko Ko Lwin, as well as Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation U Myo Moe Aung and other officials. Chairman Volodin was also accompanied by relevant Russian officials.
