Three bombs exploded on the night of 20 June at two fuel stations in Taunglaylone Village, Taunggyi Township, and along the Union Highway between Taunglaylone and Heho, according to reports.
The explosions occurred near the DANKO and LUCKY GREEN LAND fuel stations in Taunglaylone Village, southern Shan State, as well as on the Union Highway between mileposts 96 and 97.
At the DANKO fuel station, the bomb exploded near the railway line, about 30 feet north of the station’s boundary wall. The blast damaged the station’s ceiling, doors and windows.
At the LUCKY GREEN LAND fuel station, the explosion occurred at the base of the outer north-western boundary wall. The blast caused the collapse of a section of the wall measuring about 10 feet and damaged the ceiling of a women’s toilet.
Another bomb exploded inside a drainage culvert along the four-lane Union Highway between Taunglaylone and Heho, damaging one side of the roadway.
No injuries were reported in any of the three explosions.
