Myanmar citizens living in Bangkok, Thailand, are no longer able to use their Rabbit Card to ride the BTS train, according to some Myanmar citizens in Thailand.

The Rabbit Card is a prepaid card that allows you to automatically board the BTS train without having to queue at the ticket counter.

“Since December 30 and 31, we can no longer use these cards. Many people who live here use these cards. It is a problem for us to buy the train ticket. As far as I know, the barring is not only affected on Myanmar citizens. I heard that citizens from Iran and North Korea are also affected,” said a person in Thailand.

In addition, a person in Thailand said, “Rabbit Cards have not been able to be used since December 30. When they asked for a refund, they asked me to fill out forms and contact them later. They also said that it would take about two weeks.”

The Rabbit Card requires a deposit of 1,000 baht.
