A welcome dinner hosted by President of the People’s Republic of China, Mr Xi Jinping, was held this evening (31 August) local time at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention Center in Tianjin. Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, attended the event.

The welcome dinner was organized for Heads of State arriving in Tianjin to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2025, hosted by the People’s Republic of China.
