The high-level delegation led by the State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing began its working visit to China on August 30, according to sources.

On the morning of August 30, the high-level delegation led by the SSPC Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing departed from Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport by special plane.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, is on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China.

During the working visit, the SSPC Chairman will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit 2025 to be held in Tianjin and attend the military parade to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War to be held in Beijing. The visit will include a meeting with President Xi Jinping, meetings with other heads of state attending the ceremony, meetings with officials of the People's Republic of Chinese government, visits to famous places in China, and observation of the education sector, industrial production sector, economic sector, etc.

In addition, during the visit, discussions will be held to further develop and strengthen the friendship between the governments and peoples of the two countries, as well as economic and multi-sectoral cooperation.
