In the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, the Myanmar national team defeated Pakistan 1-0 in their Group E match, marking their second consecutive victory in the qualifying stage.  

The winning goal for Myanmar was scored by Than Paing in the 41st minute.  

Earlier, Myanmar had secured a 2-1 victory over Afghanistan in their opening group match. With six points from two matches, they currently lead their group.  

Myanmar is placed in Group E alongside Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Syria.
