The Myanmar embassy in Singapore has released the documents to be submitted by those who want to renounce their Myanmar citizenship.

Documents to be submitted are Myanmar passport, original national registration card (if never applied for a NRC, a letter stating that you do not hold it), a copy of the household registration list (if not included in the household registration list, a letter stating that you do not include in it) and a copy of birth certificate and so on.

In addition, when applying, they must also submit the application to renounce your citizenship, resume and a request for proof of renunciation of Myanmar citizenship from the Singapore government, announced the embassy.

The Myanmar Embassy in Singapore announced that applications that cannot be returned will not be issued with a letter of endorsement.
