SAC chairman meets Chinese Special Envoy Deng Xijun to discuss border trade process

Yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw, Chairman of the State Administration Council, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, held a significant meeting with Deng Xijun, the Special Envoy for Asian Affairs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. 

During their cordial discussion, they addressed several crucial topics related to bilateral relations and cooperation.

Moreover, they cordially exchanged views on the help of China in the peace process, cooperation in narcotic drug eradication, bilateral cooperation in the elimination of online gambling and online scams, the border trade process between the two countries, and political progress in Myanmar.

This meeting reflects the ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between Myanmar and China, fostering cooperation and addressing critical issues for the benefit of both nations.

On the occasion were SAC’s joint secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and officials from the Chinese Embassy to Myanmar.
