The dead body of a 60-year-old woman who had drowned in Kandawgyi lake was found on the early morning of November 14.

 Upon hearing at 7am on November 14 that there was a dead body near Karaweik, Kandawgyi,  Yangon, officials from Digayuka social welfare organization went over to the scene.

An official from the organization said that they went there after hearing that someone was dead in the lake near Karaweik, and that it was about a 60-yearold woman who had drowned, and that the body was sent to Yangon General Hospital.

 It was learnt from the social welfare group that till then they had not had any contact with the family of the dead person.
