Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) will expand its flight services to towns with limited transportation access starting April 24, 2026, the Ministry of Transport announced.
The move aims to improve connectivity and facilitate travel, particularly for travellers.
Under the expanded schedule, flights will operate three times a week between Yangon, Manaung and Kyaukpyu in Rakhine State. Services will run on Mondays (Yangon–Manaung–Kyaukpyu–Yangon), Wednesdays (Yangon–Kyaukpyu–Manaung–Yangon), and Fridays (Yangon–Manaung–Kyaukpyu–Yangon).
In Tanintharyi Region, flights from Myeik Airport to Dawei, Bokpyin and Kawthoung will be operated six days a week. The schedule includes routes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (Myeik–Bokpyin–Kawthoung–Bokpyin–Myeik), Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays (Myeik–Dawei–Myeik).
According to the ministry, detailed flight information and tickets for the expanded services are available on the airline’s website as well as through ticket agents in the respective towns.
