Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC), Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met the delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Chief Marshal Alongkorn Vannarot, who attended the 20th ASEAN Air Chiefs' Conference hosted by Myanmar, on September 15 at the Zeya Thiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw.
In the meeting, the conditions of friendship and cooperation between the two armies of the two countries, the conditions of cooperation between the Myanmar Army (Air) and the Royal Thai Air Force, the conditions of the annual high-level officers' meeting (HLC) and the Myanmar-Thai Regional Border Committee (RBC) meeting between the two Myanmar-Thai armed forces, issues related to the development of friendship and friendship tours were being discussed.
The meeting was attended by Lt. Gen. Ye Win Oo from the Office of the Chief of Defense Staff (Army), Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and senior military officers attended, together with the Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, senior military officers from the Royal Thai Air Force, and the military attaché of the Royal Thai Air Force in Myanmar.
Similarly, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung welcomed Royal Thai Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Alon-gkorn Vannarot with a guard of honor on September 15 at Bayintnaung Avenue in Nay Pyi Taw.
After introducing the officials of the two countries attending the ceremony, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and Air Chief Marshal Alon-gkorn Vannarot of the Royal Thai Air Force met at the reception hall of the Bayintnaung Avenue.
In that meeting, the issues related to the Myanmar-Thailand friendship tour and reciprocation, issues related to sending students issues related to further improving the relationship between the two air forces of the two countries, issues related to aid and rescue in the face of natural disasters, issues related to technical information exchange and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) were discussed.
Chief of Staff (Navy) Vice Admiral Zwe Win Myint, and senior officers of the Tatmadaw (Air), and senior officers of the Royal Thai Air Force attended the meeting.
After that, the Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung hosted the Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force with a working lunch at the Ayeyawady Hall in Jasmine Hotel, and then the delegations led by the Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force took a flight from Nay Pyi Taw Airport, where they were escorted by senior officers of the Tatmadaw (Air) at the airport.
