An armed group attacked Theinzayat police station in Kyaikhto Township at 5:00 pm on September 14 with 40 mm grenades according to locals.

Three grenades hit rubber plantation in front of the Theinzayat police station and another 4 grenades exploded outside of the west fence of the station according to a local.

“Some said the grenades were attacked from Ywalay village. Explosions occurred continuously but no one was hurt,” said a local.

Similarly, an armed group attacked with 60 mm grenades at the station on June 16. Due to explosion, a woman died and four people including a young girl were injured according to locals.
