Myanmar hosted the 20th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (AACC) at the Myanmar Convention Center in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, according to the Information Team of the State Administration Council.
At the conference, those attendees took a commemorative photo and short video clip of AACC was shown. Later, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung extended greetings and then the ASEAN Air Chiefs from Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam as well as the host continued the discussion under the theme of ASEAN Air Forces’ Cooperation for Sustainable Environment. However, the Air Chiefs from Philippines and Singapore participated in the conference through video message.
Those attendees approved the outcomes of the meeting and the Chairman of AACC General Tun Aung made concluding remarks and the Chairmanship of 20th AACC was handed over to Gen. Soeung Samnang of Cambodia.
Moreover, 10th ASEAN Air Forces Education and Traning-Working Group Meeting which is the related meetings of 20th AACC was held through video conferencing at the Air Force’s meeting from August 7 to 9 and the ASEAN delegates discussed about Advancing Education and Training Exchanges for Sustainable Environment Amongst ASEAN Air Forces.
The ASEAN Air Chiefs arrived in Nay Pyi Taw on September 12.
Later, General Tun Aung individually met with the ASEAN Air Chiefs at the M Gallery in Nay Pyi Taw in the evening of September 12.
