Cambodia government donated US$ 300,000 in humanitarian assistance to victims of Mocha cyclone in Myanmar.

The handing over ceremony took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Cambodia on June 2. Cambodia foreign ministry’s secretary of state Dr. Nhem Khemara handed over US$ 300,000 to Myanmar ambassador U Thit Lin Ohn.

Later, Myanmar ambassador U Thit Lin Ohn spoke words of gratitude. He said the assistances provided by the Cambodia Government will be of much assistance in rehabilitation works for cyclone affected people which is systematically implemented by Myanmar government. On behalf of Myanmar people and the government, he expressed gratitude to Cambodia government and people for their donation.
