MANDALAY------A robbery occurred at the Pure Gold Shop in Mandalay Region yesterday evening, according to the sources.

The witnesses said that two men sold their gold for Ks 150 million at Sein Kyaw Moe Pure Gold Shop situated between 31st Streets and 32nd Streets on 85th Streets in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay Region, around 5pm of March 27th. Later, the gold sellers kept their cash Ks 150 million in five canvas bags. While cash bags were being loaded onto the vehicle, three gunmen arrived at the gold shop by car and then they fired the gun into the air and took four cash canvas bags out of five. There was totaling Ks 120 million in the four cash canvas bags.

Concerning the robbery, a lawsuit was filed at the relevant police station.
