Shooting occurred at Thuwanna 23 ward in Thingangyun Township on the morning of November 24.
A retired Colonel Zaw Naing Win was shot when he was watering plants at his house at the corner of Kankaw Myaing Street and Ingyin Myaing lane 4. He suffered gunshot wound at his right chest and was in serious condition according to News of Myanmar (NOM) news media.
Shooting happened at around 8:00 am on November 24. After the incident, security forces came to the area and investigations have been made according to eye-witnesses.
Similarly, U Soe Soe, a ward official was shot around 9:00 am on October 26 near Thazin Road in North Okkalapa Township when he was going to the ward office with his motorcycle.
A 70 years old woman and two men were also shot dead at 8:30 am on October 22 in Ward-2, Hlaing Township. U Tin Maung Win, Daw Tu, Daw Tin Nu, Ko Marku aka Ko Nyi Phone Thant were also shot dead at No-78, Thiri lane (5), in Ward-2, Hlaing Township according to locals.
Three men including a military officer were shot dead near Thiri Myaing bus-stop at Baho Road and Paungsi Road in Hlaing Township in October 20. The officer was on his leave and he was walking with his wife when he was shot according to social media pages. Another man was also a military man, sources said.
