Myanmar reported 641 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths during a 24-hour period from 8pm of March 11 to 8pm of March 12, the Ministry of Health announced on the night of March 8.

The latest cases were found after a total of 15,528 lab samples were tested during the period.

From the start of the outbreak to 8pm of March 12 this year, 7,370,297 lab samples were tested, 604,860 cases reported and 19,406 died, according to the ministry.

On March 12 also, 1,356 patients were discharged from hospitals bringing the total number of recoveries to 556,646.
