Among the 227 runaways from all walks of life, charges dropped for 150 people

Among the 227  runaways from health and education sectors and other sectors, charges have been dropped to 150 people and the rest cases are being investigated to close the cases according to an announcement made on August 13.

It said cases will be dropped to government staff, intellectual and intelligentsia, civilians from all walks of life, who desire to return to Myanmar, apart from those committed murder, robbery, setting fire, landmine attacks, attacking security forces purposefully, attacking civil staff and public, destroying stated-owned buildings and private buildings, those involved in CDM movement deeply  can connect police stations in states and regions with trust and phone numbers of these police stations have also published since August 3, 2021. 

From August 4 to August 12, 227 people including health and education sectors and other walks of life connect these phone numbers directly or via their relatives. After investigating them with police records in states and regions, cases of 150 people were dropped and the rest cases are being investigated to close cases.

The rest can also connect with confidence in the government’s sincere will, it stated.
