Basic education schools will continue to close for two more weeks to stop the spread of COVID-19, announced the Central Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment for COVID-19.

The committee announced that basic education schools (including private schools and monastic schools) would be temporarily closed for two weeks from July 26 to August 8 due to the need to continue controlling the spread of COVID-19.

Previously, basic education schools, private schools and monastic schools were closed from July 9, up until the 23.
