Four western nations funded Myanmar 17 million for COVID-19 fight

Britain, Sweden, America, and Switzerland have funded over $17 million to Myanmar for its actions against COVID-19.    

From the amount funded Access to Health Fund purchased over 200,000 PPE's, and gave over 100,000 to the Ministry of Health and Sports, over 77,000 to Indigenous Healthcare organizations, and the remaining were kept ready for emergency use.    

In addition after coordinating with other responsible persons the Ministry of Health and  Sports, with the funds purchased from April to Aug 2020 over 100,000 RT-PCR and about 30,000 Cobas Tests for the National Health Lab department.    

Access to Health Fund has further funded 10 Regions and  States, Indigenous Health organizations and Public centered organizations from over 80 townships. The organization to provide funds to make healthcare available has already  funded about $ 6 million  to the Indigenous Health Organizations and  31 Indigenous Public centred organizations in the 85 townships in the 10 Regions and States in Myanmar.
