YANGON - The first batch of medical supplies imported from China had arrived in Yangon International Airport on October 18th .
Those medical supplies such as KN95 Facemasks, PPE Medical Protective Clothing, Medical Caps and Goggles will be used during 2020 General Election.
The special aircrafts carrying more medical supplies will be arriving at the airports in Yangon and Mandalay until November 3rd.
Myanmar bought the medical supplies from China to distribute them to eligible voters, staff from polling stations and volunteers at the day for holding of General Election-2020 to be held on November 8th.
Under the program of WHO, 24th Special Humanitarian Relief Flight carrying 40 experts from UN and international organizations and 43,000 sets of surgical gloves to be used in the healthcare services related to the COVID-19 prevention and containment arrived in Yangon International Airport on October 18th.
Likewise, the Vietnamese government and the Vietnamese people donated facemasks and surgical gloves for Myanmar on October 15th.
