PATHEIN-As testing machines for COVID-19 virus are being installed at the People’s Hospitals in Pathein and Myaungmya Districts in Ayeyawady Region, six of District level People’s Hospitals can treat 64 COVID-19 confirmed cases.
The machine is expected to test two persons for COVID-19 virus within one hour.
“Gene Xpert machines have already been installed at the Pathein District People’s Hospital. We are now checking the machine process. The machine is being provided by the Union Government. In the past, it was the TB diagnostic machine.
