There is no detection of any COVID-19 virus in the 15 people from North Oakalapa Township who have had contact with patient No.378, and the health workers of a private hospital.
This was posted on the social website of Dr Khin Khin Gyi, Director of Central Epidemiology Department on 22 August.
There has been no detection of virus in people under lockdown.
There is no detection of virus in doctors from private hospitals.
Fifteen people, male and female from N. Okakalapa who have had contact with patient No.378 were sent to a quarantine center in the early hours of 20 August and their residence in Ayeyar Kyaung St. and Khaymar Kyaung St. has been closed down.
Patient No.378 is a 50-year old woman who put up at the aforesaid residence temporarily to take treatment in Yangon.
In addition, patient No.378 took X-ray in Shwe La Min, a private hospital, and all the health workers from the hospital who have had contact with the patient were also sent to the quarantine centre.
According to Lanmadaw township constituency 2, Yangon Region MP Kyaw Htun, patient No 378 came to the hospital on 12 August and some of the nurses and doctor had been in contact with the patient.
