Eight coronavirus suspects being treated in seven hospitals: MOHS

A total of eight patients including two coronavirus suspected patients are having treatment in seven hospitals including Waibargi Hospital and they will be discharged from the hospital if the lab results showed they are not infected with 2019 novel coronavirus, according to Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS).

The condition of a 15-year old patient from Chinese Taipei, who was admitted to Waibargi Hospital on February 1, is improved and a 32-year old Chinese man transferred from Hlaingthayar Hospital has fever and he has been provided medical care.

Moreover the condition of a two year and two months old baby admitted to Loikaw Hospital on February 1 is stable and a 14-month old baby admitted to Kengtong Hospital on February 1 is improved. The conditions of a 45-year old patient in Namtu Hospital and a 38-year old patient in Minbya Hospital are also improving, according to the MOHS.

Similarly, the conditions of a 29-year old Chinese admitted to 1000-Bed Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw and a 26-year old South Korean admitted to Sao San Tun Hospital in Taunggyi are stable. All 59 students returned from Wuhan, three medical staffs and five crew members of the aircraft, which carried the students from Wuhan, are quarantined at Kandawnadi Hospital in Mandalay and they are in stable condition. Other four crew members and chief pilot quarantined in their houses are also in good condition, according to the MOHS.
