A worker from fishing raft died due to the owner’s torture

A worker from a fishing raft in Kansauk Village, Bokpyin Township, is died due to the owner’s torture, sources said.

The beating of the owner killed him as he was sleeping while he should be at work.

Thurein Oo, the owner, kicked his worker Zaw Oo and he had injuries in his right temple and right eye. When he was lying on the floor, the owner held his head and banged his head to the floor. Zaw Oo run away and came back after a while. He fainted after that and he died in the hand of his neighbours.

“We lodged the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code and arrested the culprit. We will transfer him to Kawthoung Township court. We are taking statements from plaintiff and defendant,” said Police Inspector Moe Kyaw Aung.
