Myanmar found two H1N1 patients in Chin State, according to Ministry of Health and Sports.

Out of 429 patients with Influenza Like illness from January to August 30, 108 patients were found to have A (H1N1), 19 A (H3N2) patients and 18 Influenza B patients. Out of 1,084 Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) patients, 422 patients were found to have A (H1N1), 32 A (H3N2) patients and 46 Influenza B patients.

According to the list provided by the ministry, there were 273 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 648 suspects and 68 deaths in Yangon, 57 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 117 suspects and 13 deaths in Ayeyawady, 13 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 27 suspects and four deaths in Sagaing, 13 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 24 suspects and three deaths in Mon, 41 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 98 suspects and ten deaths in Bago, 87 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 188 suspects in Nay Pyi Taw, 31 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 50 suspects and three deaths in Magway, 14 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 38 suspects in Mandalay, 31 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 80 suspects and two deaths in Rakhine, six laboratory-confirmed patients out of 13 suspects in Shan (North), 12 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 17 suspects and one death in Shan (South), no laboratory-confirmed patient out of one suspect in Shan (East), 5 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 9 suspects and one death in Taninthayi, 36 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 104 suspects and one death in Kachin, two laboratory-confirmed patients out of five suspects in Chin and 11 laboratory-confirmed patients out of 80 suspects in Kayin, announced the ministry.
