The Myanmar Power and Solar Energy Storage Lighting Expo 2025 was held for the second time from May 1 to 4 at the Yangon Convention Center, located at the Inya Lake Hotel in Yangon. The four-day event featured over 100 exhibitors representing more than 150 international brands, showcasing the latest innovations in power generation, solar energy, and energy storage technologies.
The exhibition will be held from 9 am to 5 pm at the Yangon Convention Center from May 1 to 3 and from 9 am to 2 pm on May 4.
“We are exhibiting Huawei products at the exhibition today because we want to import them into Myanmar. Huawei is known for its smartphones and laptops in Myanmar. Huawei’s Fusion Solar is a brand that has been successful around the world for 8 consecutive years. According to Huawei’s Safety Level, it is completely made with AI technology, so it is very reliable compared to other authentic products. We want our customers to use this brand in the country. And SEC itself is an official partner of Huawei, so we are importing it with the intention of wanting our customers in the country to use the best products,” said Ma Thinzar Htet, Marketing Executive at SEC Solar, which participated in the exhibition.
The trade fair featured over 100 booths from over 150 international brands, showcasing solar and generator products as well as electronic products. There was a particularly large number of visitors interested in solar energy and smart inverters that can be connected to a battery system without the need for solar panels.
Ko Sai Soe Htet Kaung, General Manager of CTE Myanmar Company, which participated in the exhibition said, “We also participated in the first solar exhibition held in January. We had many customers at that exhibition. That is why we participated again this time. Currently, our batteries are High Voltage 100 Ah and 280 Ah. There are other brands in the market for 100 Ah battery. Our 100 Ah High Voltage battery is cheaper than other brands. We also offer a 10-year warranty. The 280 Ah battery is the only battery in the market in Myanmar. It offers a 10-year warranty. We are the only one in the market. By using 280 High Voltage battery, in the future, we can reduce costs and reduce space requirements a lot. Later, we will import a lot of 16 kWh High Voltage.”
The first Myanmar Power and Solar Energy Storage Lighting Expo was held at the Yangon Convention Center from January 10 to 12, and more than 150 companies from China, Thailand and India came to exhibit and sell.
