Published 12 October 2025

The Union Election Commission has announced that the voter list will be extended and publicly displayed until October 20 to ensure the voter lists are complete and accurate, and to allow more time for submitting applications, objections, and amendments.

It is known that the Union Election Commission has been publicly displaying the voter lists for the general election to be held in December 2025 for public scrutiny from September 30, 2025, to October 13, 2025 (a period of 14 days).

The Union Election Commission announced that to ensure the voter lists are complete and accurate, and to allow voters more time to submit the required applications, objections, and amendments, the voter list will be further extended and publicly displayed from October 14, 2025, to October 20, 2025 (an additional 7 days).

Therefore, if a name is missing from the voter list, Form (3) can be used to request its inclusion; if ineligible persons are included, Form (4) can be used to object; and if there are errors in the information on the voter list, Form (4-C) can be used to submit amendments. These actions can be continued until October 20, 2025, according to the Union Election Commission's announcement.

Furthermore, regarding voter list matters, it is known that Call Centers have been opened, staffed by responsible personnel from the Union Election Commission, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the General Administration Department, and the Ministry of Immigration and Population, so that the public can inquire about information they wish to know and report any difficulties they encounter.

The Union Election Commission also announced that telephone numbers used for non-inquiry or non-reporting purposes, specifically those used for disruptive calls, will be recorded, and the corresponding phone SIM cards will be deactivated.
