UBP will contest Taninthayi constituency in 2020 Election: Party’s Chairman

MYEIK-The Union Betterment Party (UBP) will be contesting all constituencies in Tanintharyi Region in coming 2020 Election, says Shwe Mann, the party’s Chairman.

The opening ceremony of UBP office was held in Myeik Township on June 12th. Before the event, the party chairman met with a few invited guests at the Green Jade Hotel in Myeik Township on June 11th.

“The UBP aims to uplift the welfare of the people. So, it is needed to have good economy aiming to be became proper political situation. We are going to contest ten Townships in Taninthayi Region in coming 2020 Election. We already laid down the policy concerning media aiming to ensure good relationship with the media because media plays a vital role in the link between people and the party as well as between government and people. Moreover, media can ensure greater transparency in the country,” said Shwe Mann.

Later, the party chairman answered the queries raised by those who attended the opening ceremony of the party's office.
