
Myanmar badminton player Thet Htar Thuza secured silver medal in Nepal International Series Badminton Tournament held in Nepal from December 4 to 8.
Thet Htar Thuza started with the 32-player level and reached the final. She lost to the Thai player with 1-2 in the final event and secured the second prize.
In the 32-player level, she won the Mauritanian player with 2-0. In the 16-player level, she won the Nepalese player with 2-0. In the quarterfinal event, she won the Sri Lankan player with 2-0. In the semifinal match, she won the Iranian player with 2-0. But she lost to the Thai player with 1-2 in the final.
She won gold medal in Egypt International Series International Badminton Tournament. She is going to compete in the ASEAN University Games.
