State Administration Council (SAC) Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung  Hlaing said that administration is government by the democratic system and it needs to act in accord with the authority given by law. He said these words when meeting with Magway region cabinet members and district and township-level departmental personnel at the meeting hall of the Magway Regionl military headquarters on February 10. 

He instructed officials to work for the development of rural areas and meet the needs as much as possible to reduce the development gap between urban and rural areas in the region. Senior General said it is necessary to systematically plant fish in rivers, and cattle and goat breeding will be more beneficial if they are reared in captivity as it will provide not only livestock but also natural fertilizers required for agriculture. The Senior General also suggested that not only broilers but also layers should be raised in large numbers in the Magway region, adding that it is found that poultry farming is more productive with the use of evaporation type, modern breeding system, which can also be used with the solar system on sunny days. 

He highlighted the need to make fish and eggs affordable for people to eat nutritious food. An ordinary person needs to consume about 10 ticals of meat and three eggs per day and therefore, the government is releasing fish in rivers and streams across the country. 

It is necessary to cultivate trees as a national duty, to implement agricultural activities with industrial farming system, to produce tractors from state-owned tractor factories and to support private-owned factories, to make it available to farmers with good quality and low price, to include production roads in the development of the industrial farming system, which will also solve the problem of labour shortage, he added.

The Senior General also stressed the need to comply with the traffic rules to reduce traffic accidents in the region, to have directions and signs systematically, to take measures to prevent  illegal driving of vehicles, to supervise the proper use of motorcycle helmets, to systematically issue driving licences, and to enforce the rules and regulations to prevent overloading of trucks to prevent road damage.
