A taxi driver has died from stab wounds in Dawbon Township, Yangon Region, sources said.

Volunteers from the Thitsar Mandaing Social Welfare Association (Dawbon) rushed to the scene of a taxi driver who was found with a cut neck and stab wounds to his chest at the corner of 80-foot road and Zeyar Thiri 6th Street, Zeyar Thiri Ward, Dawbon Township, Yangon Region.

The driver, identified as 36-year-old Ko Kyaw Kyaw Han, from Zeyar Thiri Ward, was taken to Yangon General Hospital by the Thitsar Mandaing Association’s emergency vehicle. The driver died from the stab wounds at the hospital, according to the Thitsar Mandaing Social Welfare Association.
