Tatmadaw attacks AA insurgents giving trouble to border fencing in Rakhine State

Tatmadaw military column attacked AA insurgents giving trouble to border fencing measures in Rakhine State with the help of heavy weapons, the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services reported.

While Tatmadaw military columns were conducting security measures in Rakhine State, about 10 AA insurgents wearing civilian clothes attacked the military motorcade in use of remote-control mine at mile post Nos 118/2 on MraukU-Kyauktaw road in the afternoon of March 14. Then, the clash broke out between Tatmadaw military column and AA insurgents. AA insurgents had to retreat from the fighting. Tatmadaw military columns were in hot pursuit and on the way Sein Hla was spotted with an unlicensed motorcycle and checked. A regional hand-made mine was found from the toolbox of the motorcycle.

Similarly, the clash broke out between Tatmadaw military column and AA insurgents on March 15 and a motorcycle was seized during the clash.

Tatmadaw military columns are combating AA insurgents giving trouble to border fencing in Wanetyone region in Rakhine State.  Tatmadaw military columns attacked AA insurgents stationing at point-802 near border mile post No BP-67 hill with the use of heavy weapons.
