Stay at Home order imposes at 10 townships in Yangon Region, 2 in Mon State and Gantgaw in Magway Region

Stay at Home order is imposed in ten townships in Yangon Region, two townships in Mon Stateand Gantgaw township in Magway Region according to Ministry of Health and Sports on July 7.

Ten townships in Yangon Region are Mingalardon Township, Hmawbi Township, Insein Township, Shwe Pyithar Township, Hlaing Township, South Okkalapa Township, Bahan Township and  Mayangone Township. Mawlamyine and Thanbyuzayat townships in Mon State and Gantgaw township in Sagaing Region are also included in the Stay at Home order.

Moreover, Chan Mya Tharzi, Aung Myay Tharzan, Pyi Gyi Tagon, Maha Aung Myay, Pathein Gyi, Pyin Oo Lwin and Amarapura townships in Mandalay Region,  Tharyarwaddy, Min Hla, Letpadan and Phyu townships in Bago Region, Tunzan, Tiddum, Phalam, Htantalan and Hakha townships in Chin State, Tamu, Homalin, and Kalay townships in Sagaing Region, Lashio, Naung Cho in Shan State and Laukkai from Kokant self-administrative region, pathein, Myaungmya, and Tharbaung townships in Ayeyawaddy Region, Taungoo, Bago, Pyi in Bago Region, Nay Pyi Taw Zabyu Thiri Township, and Pyinmana township are in the Stay at Home order list.

In the third wave of COVID-19 till July 7, 44 townships are under Stay at Home order according to Ministry of Health and Sports.

New COVID-19 strain of Alpha, Delta, and Kappa has found in Myanmar.  In order to contain the spread of COVID-19, the Union level organizations and ministries has extended orders, directions  and statements issued to public  to May 31,2021 to July 31,2021.
